Learning Objectives Learning objectives need to be: Appropriate- age related with differentiation � something the children need to learn Clear so that they give focus to the lesson Shared with the children � do not have to write in books especially for those children who find writing difficult (sticky labels)

11. Build upon previous learning Explain that objectives need to be broken down into what is actually being learnt in the lesson. Can use a part of the objective and it could last for more than one lesson Not mixed up with the activity e.g. to write your own version of the trials of Hercules should be � to write a myth Learning Objectives
