With just a click of your mouse Access a new and improved membership system Immediate assignment and access of student ID Easy access to mailing labels Saves valuable teacher time (e.g., applications, membership, chapter management) Opportunity to track all activities at local, state and national levels Provides key data for Perkins plans and reports Key tool for Ag Ed to demonstrate relevance and impact to local administrators and school boards

  3. AgCN provides single sign-in • Go to FFA.org • Upper left-hand corner click on MyFFA/AgCN Sign Inand register for an account. * If you have previously used MyFFA then, simply log-in with your current user name and password.

  4. ACN Homepage – after logging in * To edit your portion of the news click on “Initial Setup” in the left-hand column.”

  5. Roster Renewal • Allows all agricultural education students access to the system • Less time consuming • Previous members will already be integrated in to the system.

  10. Student Invitation • Will invite students to log-in to their own portal on AgCN. • Invitations will include individual credentials for each student. • Once inside AgCN the student will be asked to choose a user name and secure password

Student Features • Allows students to enter information about themselves, their projects, FFA experiences, etc. • Grant parents read-only access • Record classes they have taken • Pre-plan for agriculture education classes • Document internships they have experienced • Easily track FFA and Ag Ed experiences • Easily track SAE accomplishments • Access to FFA products and programs • Access to internships and job opportunities • Resume building application • Access to academic opportunities and scholarships

AgCN Timeline Development of the career network occurs in phases: • Summer/Fall 2011 • Membership • Key portfolio and expanded demographics • AET integration – profile data • Basic career exploration • Winter 2011-12 • Chapter POA • Expanded career exploration • Full SAE Integration • Resume builder • Summer 2012 • Application automation awards/degrees/etc. • And more- the project scope continues to grow
