  2. I am so excited to be teaching TK this year! I have 19 years experience as a kindergarten teacher. In CUSD we are using Dr. Debbi Keeler’s curriculum found on the CKA website www.californiakindergartenassociation.org. and developing ideas in collaboration with the three TK teachers. I serve on the CKA Board as President Elect. Debra Weller

  11. October Journals Every Monday we sit in a circle and pass the story stick. Each child gets a turn to say what they did over the weekend. Only the person holding the stick gets to talk and the others need to be good listeners. After this I model how to write in a journal. I put on classical music, they draw pictures and “write” in their journals.
