  1. As an ESL educator, I believe that computers and technology are providing teachers with more opportunities to fulfill the needs of ESL learners. These opportunities create a more reliable usage of authentic materials in the process of teaching and learning.

Learning contracts are used to spell-out required tasks the students have agreed to do. • The choices offered include a list of five possible projects, of which students are required to choose one or two. • This allows students more time to improve learning, it also creates differentiated instruction opportunities allowing for various goals for gifted learners, ELLS or students with disabilities.
