  3. Chat Rooms and Blog Areas Are FUN! Dangerous They Can Also Be • Avoid • Name: always use a nickname that may be used for a boy or girl. • Age • School • Phone numbers • Address • Even something as simple as school colours. • NEVER send anyone you met online your picture.

  4. Never…. • provide personal information when you register for: File-sharing, Instant message, E-mail, games etc. • complete personal profiles for an e-mail or instant messaging account. Personal Profiles will ask for all kinds of information about you that can lead people to you and your home. • give personal information to strangers in: Chat rooms Through instant messaging or online gaming

  5. Cyber bulling • Online bullying is any kind of repeated harassment, verbal, psychological or physical abuse, carried out by an individual or group to deliberately upset others. • Bullying is always wrong and unacceptable behaviour; it should never be overlooked or ignored!
