  2. What is an angle • An angle is two rays or lines that meet to form a vertex.

  3. Acute Angles • An acute angle is an angle that is 90 to 0 degrees or smaller than a right angle.

  4. Obtuse Angles • An obtuse angle is an angle that 90 to 180 degrees and larger than a right angle.

  5. Right Angles • A right angle is an angle that is exactly 90 degrees a corner of a square.

  6. Straight Angles • A straight angle is an angle that is exactly 180 degrees or a line.

  7. Estimating Angles • You estimate an angle by determining what type of angle it is. Then you look at the angle that is closest to is and compare them. Finally you make a educated guess on how many degrees it is.

  8. Protractor • A protractor is a device used to measure an angle in degrees. What you do is you take the protractor and line it up so that the bottom center part of the protractor is lined up with the vertex and the base line is lined up with the bottom end of the protractor. Then you look at the numbers along the protractor and compare it to the angle. Finally you line up the line and make sure to count all the tiny lines so that your measurement is accurate to the best you can do.

  9. Drawing Angles • You can draw an angle by drawing an straight line. Then add your vertex. Next look at the angle that your drawing and determine if its an acute, obtuse, right, or straight angle. Then use your protractor and line it up with the vertex and base line and put a dash beside the angle you are drawing and make sure to look at the scale. Then line up the dash and the vertex and that should be an accurate angle.( Though you should double check).

  10. My Learning • I think I performed well in angles. My favorite part would probably be measuring angles because I personally think its fun. I could use some work in nothing because I did really well and I liked it.
