  1. Dear Peaceful Students, Every day in our class we witness acts of kindness from each of you. Sometimes, it’s just a little thing like letting someone borrow your pencil and other times, it’s something big like making someone feel good about them. Please write one act of kindness that someone did for you, but do not identify who the person is…just the act of kindness. Write that in your Rachel’s Challenge Journals. Think about ways that you can show kindness in our school and class. Please write them in your journals. We will be sharing them at Morning Meeting Peacefully yours, Mrs. Biondi and Mrs. Giblin

  2. Dear Peacemakers, Yesterday we talked about acts of kindness that others have done for us. Today we will write a Peace Pledge. On the piece of paper that is on your desk, write your name on it. Bring it to Morning Meeting. With care, Mrs. Biondi and Mrs. Giblin

  3. Dear Artful Artists, We attended a special assembly about Rachel’s Challenge. Rachel Joy Scott traced her hand prints behind her dresser and wrote on them, “These hands belong to Rachel Joy Scott and will someday touch millions of people’s hearts.” I believe that your hands will also one day touch millions of lives. Please carefully trace your hand on the banner. I will help you. During the week we will personalize our hand prints and finally hang the banner on the wall.

  4. Dear Interviewers, Today we are going to learn more about each other. Imagine there are so many things that we still don’t know about each other even though we have been in school for such a long time! Write down one thing that your classmates don’t know about you. For example, I might write “Most people don’t know that I love to watch thunderstorms, the scarier, and the better. Fondly, • Mrs. Biondi and Mrs. Giblin

  5. Dear Caring, Loving, Intelligent Friends, Can you believe that it’s Friday! The end of a peaceful week. Please write down one positive thing that happened to you this week-in school and at home!
