  2. An oceanis a biome. Biomes are different regions, or places, in the world. The ocean is a biome.

  3. Oceans are the biggest biome in the world. Oceans are Made of salt and water. Many plants and animals live in oceans. The ocean is a biome.

  4. What do we want to know about this biome, the ocean? -Where is it located? -What lives there? -What would you wear? -How can you help the biome?

  5. Where are oceans? Oceansare found all over the world. There are five oceans. Our state (North Carolina) is beside the Atlantic ocean. Many people visit the Atlantic ocean on vacations. The ocean is a biome.

  6. What lives in the ocean? Some ocean plants are kelp and seaweed. Some animals that live in the ocean are whales and fish. The ocean is a biome.

  7. What would you wear in the ocean? Oceans are made of water, so you need to wear something that can get wet! Sometimes the oceans are cold and sometimes they are warm. You should wear a bathing suit, Swimming trunks, or a wet suit. The ocean is a biome.

  8. How can you help oceans? Oceans are used for food, medicines, oil, recreation, and other activities. People are hurting the ocean because we are taking too much of these things from this biome. Also, pollution is harming the Ocean. People put toxic liquids down their sinks and it goes into the ocean. This can kill the ocean’s plants and animals. How can we help? We can recycle and be careful not to put toxic liquids down our sinks. The ocean is a biome.
