  2. ...and S + Aux/be, too. → ...and so + Aux/be + S. • 肯定子句代換 • so放句首時:其後的S和V須倒裝 1. Mary likes sports, and I like sports, too. → Mary likes sports, and I do, too. → Mary likes sports, and so do I. 2. You are a good student, and he is a good student, too. → You are a good student, and he is, too. → You are a good student, and so is he. 3. John has been working hard, and Mary has been working hard, too. → John has been working hard, and Mary has, too. → John has been working hard, and so has Mary.

  3. ...and S + Aux/be not (...), either. → ...(and) neither … nor + Aux/be + S (...). • 否定子句代換 • neither放句首時:其後的S和V須倒裝,助動詞用肯定 1. You do not smoke, and I do not smoke, either. → You do not smoke, and I don’t, either. → You do not smoke, (and) neither/nor do I. 2. John will not come, and Peter will not come, either. → John will not come, and Peter won’t, either. → John will not come, (and) neither/nor will Peter.
