  2. The life history and discription of the bluefin tuna. The description of the bluefin is it is sleek gray and can weight up to 1,000 lbs. When the female bluefin tuna matures at age 8 it releases about 30 million eggs into the ocean. The bluefin can live up to 40 years old. The habitat the tuna lives in is warm and cold water. Bluefin can make dives up to 550 fathoms and can reach speed of 40 mph.
