  2. Jesus and Hacking? • Can a follower of Jesus work in the field of • Information security • Penetration testing • Information warfare • Reverse engineering • Offensive security research • Etc Sure, so long as we’re operating within the laws of the land and God.

  3. Truth • God made us (Genesis 1) • We rejected Him (Genesis 3) • We’ve all sinned • The wages of sin are death (Romans 6:23) • But God sent his Rescue plan • Jesus, the lamb of God (John 3:16) • And, he’s coming back again • Jesus, the King of Kings (Acts 1:11, Revelations 22)

  4. How’s That Play Out? • Depends • Probably about the same as in many other secular work places • There’s society pressure to accept the sins of the world • Abortion, gay marriage, course jokes, sex outside of marriage, false religions, worship of money or good looks, etc • As believers we’re not called to curse the darkness or judge people • The law (10 commandments) convicts those that are willing to be saved of their sins • We present the law, and with tears and weeping hopefully peopl receive Jesus. God is not willing that one will be lost. • Grace to the humble • Law for the proud • Jesus for all!

Faithful and True Witness • So with all peace and godliness • Stay true to the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit • Witness the good news that others can be saved too • Love God, others, our families, and all those near and far • Good works don’t get us to heaven, but if we’re headed to heaven we’ll want to be engaged in good works of all kinds! • Keep ourselves from being polluting by the world, the flesh, and the devil • And of course, keep PWNING! • Excellence in our career is a trait all Christians should seek

  6. Takers? • I hope you have a bible at home • I hope you’ll think about what I’ve said • None of us know when our last breath will come • Save yourself and others before it’s too late • A: Admit you’ve sinned • B: Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. • His blood was shed to pay for your sins. • C: Choose to trust in Jesus alone for the forgiveness of sins
