  8. Exercise • Question:- What is the central idea of the poem, Sympathy? • Answer:-Sympathy is greater than gold. A man in trouble needs sympathy more than money. Money can be paid back. But sympathy cannot be repaid. It is a divine virtue.

  9. Quest -How did the two men help the poet when he was in need? Answer- The was in need. A rich man helped the poet by giving him gold. Another time a poor man helped him by showing sympathy towards him. Quest -what difference do you see between the proud man and the poor man? Answer-The rich man helped the poet with money. But he did not show any kindness. The poor man nursed the poet day and night. He was full of sympathy for pote.
