  2. Brief background of the Kakadu national park • Kakadu has been under aboriginal peoples hands for over 40 000 years. • Kakadu is in the Northern Territory in Australia. • There are over 5000 recorded art sites illustrating Aboriginal culture.

  3. National parks in the Northern Territory • It is flanked by Darwin, with stunning national parks. It has beautiful landscapes, amazing wildlife and pristine river systems.

  4. Feral animal management These are native animals, belonging to the Aboriginals. These are; • Asian water buffalo • Cattle • Pigs • Horses • Donkeys • House geckos • European bees

  5. Impacts • Invasive species have the biggest threats to Australia. Pest animals have been identified to threat 70% of the species. This is the second to clearing native vegetation of in terms of the number of species impacted since 1995.

  6. Abstract • Environmental problems in the lake are not only regional problems. Governments like Canada and the U.S have recognized that the lakes have been demanded.

  7. A true wilderness • It boasts 3 kilometres of Mary River frontage for both woodland and wetland flora and fauna.
