REWARDS PROGRAM • MIIA Rewards was introduced in 2002 • Rewards mission is to promote a proactive municipal risk management culture. • Education/training and program implementation are the foundation of the program • Programs developed and updated based on pool loss experience and member feedback.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING • Held in 4 locations: Danver, Plymouth, Grafton/Worcester and Northampton • Management Trainings Fall- “Moving From Turf to Talk: Sharing Municipal Resources Through Collaborative Dialogue (half day) Spring – “Where in this Together Working Effectively with Municipal Stakeholders” (full day) • Employee Trainings Fall – “Success Strategies for Public Sector Employees (half day) Spring – “The Public Sector Employee : Honing Your Personal & Professional Human Relationship Skills in an Era of Less/ More” (full day)

CHANGES • Non MIIA Training credit for topics targeted • Credit for seminars expanded from 3% to 4% • Occupational Health Program- usage and preemployment • Training verification form or outline (include hours/instructor) of training is acceptable • Property Program consolidate • Sewer Program consolidated

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL IS May 31, 2012-No exception- please plan accordingly • Loss Control Representative can assist you with implementation of Rewards program

  16. POINTS TO REMEMBER • MIIA tracks it’s own training for your municipality • Seminar attendance credit is by member not by number of employees attending • Rewards status reports available • Webinars will be held the 2nd Thursday and 4th Tuesday of each month

  17. MEMBER ACCESS –PROGRAM INFORMATION • Register for site access • Click on red register tab right side of website wwwemiia.org • Enter your name, email, municipal entity and create and confirm your password • You will receive confirmation that you have been given access
