  2. Synopsis The player controls Provence Metheus, who at the start of the game wakens from an unknown period of time in suspended animation. The experience has left her with temporary amnesia and intermittent, violent hallucinations. Confused and disoriented, she explores to find herself in an apparent medical facility long abandoned. Using her cunning, intelligence, and tools she finds along the way, she explores the decrepit chambers of the building, trying to find her way out. Along the way locks, a collapsing facility, and an unseen advisory attempt to thwart her. As she attempts to escape, she learns more about the facility, remembers more of her own past, and discovers an unfulfilled purpose of her and others long forgotten. Getting further and further into the facility, Provence is confronted with a major crisis. Is her desire to escape built on an instinctual choice or fear of what the past represents? Are all her memories and observations pushing her towards an exit or deeper into the labyrinth of the building? The quicker her memory returns, the quicker she feels the weight of responsibility – for what has happened here, for those she remembers having lost, and to fix all the wrongs of the past. As her adventure plays out, she will find she isn’t the only one who has travelled from the past and that others are working hidden machinations to complete long lost plans. Provence may have woken with a wish to go home, but she will soon find herself fighting to save the only place she can truly remember – that which is right in front of her.
