  2. Technology worth a Gold Medal • BMW is an official partner of the Olympics, but wanted to have a bigger impact on the athletes this past summer in London, then just its advertising for automobiles…

  3. Developed a Velocity camera. This is a camera system to measure an athletes angles, velocity, and other key measurements immediately. • Similar camera system in BMW cars, allowing them to detect obstacles.

  5. Stereo Vision • This advanced technology is called stereo vision. Examples in Sports: -Swimming: Track velocity, angles of arms and legs. -Track and Field: Changes in velocity, velocity, and angles of body.
