  7. My Current Idea • ‘Home And Away’ (working title!) • Scenes of London and New York

  8. Influences & Inspiration Henri Cartier Bresson http://www.londonstreetphoto.org/henri-cartier-bresson-street-photography/

  9. Influences & Inspiration Henri Cartier Bresson • Eric Kim’s street photography blog talks a lot about what Henri Cartier Bresson can teach you about street photography. I don’t agree with everything he says, such as ‘photograph children’, because although it is a nice idea, it’s more frowned upon today than it was then. I also don’t like the idea of ‘no cropping’, and as it’s more geared towards film photography I also want to do more in the the sense of processing/editing my photos. • I do agree with these points:· Focus on geometry· Be patient· Be unobtrusive· and most importantly for this project, travel.

  10. Influences & Inspiration Tony Ray Jones http://erickimphotography.com/blog/2013/11/16/dont-take-boring-photos-13-tips-for-street-photographers-from-tony-ray-jones/

  11. Influences & Inspiration Robert Frank http://erickimphotography.com/blog/2013/01/07/timeless-lessons-street-photographers-can-learn-from-robert-franks-the-americans/

  12. Final Outcome Presented online on a web page. Possibly a photo blogging platform (Tumblr) I’m hoping to find a theme that will allow me to have a ‘start’ page of two main images, one London, one New York, when either is clicked on, there will be a page of photographs which the user can scroll sideways to view them all.

  13. Time Schedule Nov: Visit New York, take photos Dec: Select usable photos, begin editing Jan: Take photos around London Feb: Select usable photos, begin editing Mar: Finish editing, create photo blog Apr: Present on web
