Communications Protocol • Complete and functional • Specification techniques: • Provide a description of connectivity, command format, possible commands, timing • Ensure that all functionality is covered by document • Ensure that document is correct and well-formed • Can now be used to help generate the development tool (tool can accept specified message input)

  4. Partner group’s specification • Still some confusing language • Symbolic representations • Clarity • Good coverage of requirements
