Brief history of the state of Palestine. Judea, home of the Jews in ancient times, was conquered by the Romans and was renamed Palestine. Palestine was later conquered and inhabited by Arabs for over a thousand years. Then the Jews wanted to migrate in and the Arabs let some in and right then war world 2 started. 6 million Jews were killed. But later on more and more Jewish went in to Palestine. In 1947, the UN partition the land into the Arab and Jewish state. The Arabs did not accept the partition and war broke out. The Jews won a decisive victory, expanded their state and created several hundred thousand of Palestine refugees.
The Jewish peoples‘ connection to Palestine. The Jews believed that god promised them the holy land. But the Palestine will not give back the land because they settle here a long time after the Arabs conquered the holy land. But the Jews could not back off the Palestinian because the population of the Arabs is a lot more than the Jews. So a man named Natan Sharansky convinced a lot of Jewish to move in Palestine. And years after years the population of Jewish grew and grew.
What is a Zionism Zionism is what Zionist believe in. They believe that the Jews deserve to have their own country. Until the 19th century almost all the Jews had a Zionist heart. To many people Zionist is a evil name for bad Jews. But the Jews think it as a very proud way to say them. And they made up the land of Israel. There is two part of Zionist. One believe they need to use violence to get a land of their own. And one believe they need more population.
The birth of the state of Israel. In May 1948, the Jews of Palestine declared an independent state in their ancient homeland. All the country around Israel all started to attack Israel. But Israel was prepared and actually won the fight. After that Israel expanded its land again and until now the remaining people of Palestine are fighting for their land like exploding their self or throwing rocks.
Worlds reaction to the new state Israel. Most part of the world still does not except Israel as a state. Many support the Palestine who lost their home and was forced to leave their home country. But America supports Israel. And is willing to help Israel and share technology with Israel. Because many citizen in America thinks it is unfair for the Israel because in history they were here first.
