  7. New vocabulary Tell (v) Tell always comes with the following words :- a story –a joke – the time – the truth – lies – differences – news . Healwaystellsthetruth.

  8. New vocabulary Say (v) He says ,”I’m fond of keeping ornament fish .”

  9. Structures Gerund ( v + ing ) A word that ends in (ing) which is made from a verb ,and which is usedlike a noun . Examples:- eating – cooking – playing – swimming – baking

  10. Structures It can be used in the following ways :- 1- As a subject of a sentence : Example : Paintingis my favourite hobby . 

  11. Structures  2- As an object of a sentence . Example : I like reading short stories .

  12. Structures  3- After prepositions :- Example: I’m interested in playing chess .

  13. Structures  4- As a complement of a verb . Example: : He is studying his lessons .

  14. Structures  5- In noun compounds . Example: a horse riding .

  15. Structures  6- After certain verbs like :- Enjoy – start – feel like – hate – dislike – like – prefer – busy – mind – look forward to – be used to – finish – suggest . Example: I like eating fruit .
