  5. Combat Rations Standards • Meet or exceed STANAG 2937 • Meet Canadian nutritional standards • Have 3 year shelf-life • Reflect Canadian culture & food preferences • Users confirm menu choices & quality standard

  9. What’s new with the Individual Combat Ration • IMP 12 – all nutritional labelling printed on each individual package • New items such as: Pizza Pasta, Smoked Meat, Salmon with Creamy Dill sauce or Tuscany Sauce, etc

  15. The Future • Most of the IMP components freeze solid at temperature of to -22 ºF to -58 ºF • Continue to develop new products with our suppliers • Soldiers become more and more educated on nutrition facts
