  3. Discussion Questions 1.) While scholars point out that teaching metis and kairosis extremely difficult, could it be valuable to introduce theses concepts to FYC students? If so, how might they be valuable? You may consider them separately or together. 2.) Is it important to be true to the understanding of these concepts in the classical senses when teaching them to students or should we take the liberty of tweaking them for contemporary purposes? 3.) How might you teach metis and kairos as practical concepts in a rhetoric and composition course? What activities might be useful for introducing students to these concepts?
