They are at a crossroad, trying to balance overwhelming need to succeed with their desire to slow down and enjoy the fruits of their labor. In addition to feeling as if they have to prove themselves constantly are chafing under the image of being overly ambitious, disrespectful, and irreverent. They are well marked by their skepticism. The US divorce rate tripled during their births.   19. GENERATIONS AT WORK • MILLENNIAL: (1981-1999) 76 million with their unique mix of savvy and social conscience, they promise to change yet again the landscape of the work place. Nipping at everyone’s heels are this new kid on the block. They are being predicted that they will truly be the next greatest generation. Being brought up with technology, feeling empowered to take positive action when things go wrong. They have been directly affected by personal threats stemming from violent outbreaks. Personal safety is their number one issue.. The word to best describe this generation is realistic. …smart practical technical savvy, …blurry lines between fantasy and Reality
