Representative immunoblots for protein reactive carbonyls (anti-DNP), glycoxidation (anti-CEL), mixed glycoxidation/lipoxidation (anti-CML), and lipoxidation (anti-MDAL) in AGD. Numbers on the left indicate apparent molecular weight; numbers on the right indicate the number of the band quantified by densitometry. The lower panels show the quantification of blots by densitometry after band densities were normalized to actin content. Differences were analyzed vs. the control (CTL) group by Student’s t test (*p<0.05 and **p<0.001).
