Ohio Diploma Options for College or Skilled Job Readiness

Ohio's new law provides students with multiple pathways to earn a diploma, ensuring they are ready for college or a skilled job upon graduation. With flexibility in course credits and state tests, students can choose from three graduation options. Get college-ready through high scores on state tests or national admission tests, or earn industry certification and work-readiness scores. Additional options include substituting tests with advanced placement courses or enrolling in college-level courses while in high school. For more information, contact your counselor or visit education.ohio.gov/options.
