Interesting Facts Private George Price of Saskatchewan's 28th Battalion was shot by sniper fire at 10:58 a.m. November 11th was originally called Armistice Day; renamed Remembrance Day and a legal holiday 10 million deaths was the total casualties resulted from the war Florence Green, a war vet from WW1, is still alive today at 110 years old
