READ: 2 CHRONICLES 36:15-16 15 The LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. 16 they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds." But they did not hear nor heed Me.

But he who takes warning will save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.'

He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him. NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 3:19 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

READ: ISAIAH 56:10 10 His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 33:7-9 THE WATCHMAN AND HIS MESSAGE 7 "So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. 8 When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

WHAT DID THE LORD SAY TO EZEKIEL? I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; You shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. WHAT WAS THE MESSAGE? 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!'

WHAT DID THE LORD SAY TO EZEKIEL? I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; WHAT WAS THE MESSAGE? You shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. WHAT DID THE LORD TELL JEREMIAH TO DO? READ: JEREMIAH 1:17 17 Prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them. NKJV

READ: JEREMIAH 26:2 2 Stand in the court of the LORD‘S house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD‘S house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word. NKJV

QUESTIONS: EZEKIEL 33:8 THE WATCHMAN AND HIS MESSAGE 8 When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. QUESTIONS: EZEKIEL 33:9 THE WATCHMAN AND HIS MESSAGE 9 Nevertheless ifyou warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. WHAT WAS THE MESSAGE? ‘warn the wicked to turn from his way’ WHY WARN THEM? READ: PSALMS 7:11-12 11 God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 If he does not turn back He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. NKJV

Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?'

READ: EZEKIEL 4:16-17 16 I will cut off the supply of bread in Jerusalem; they shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and shall drink water by measure and with dread, 17 They may lack bread and water, and be dismayed with one another, and waste away because of their iniquity. READ: 2 CHRONICLES 30:9 9 If you return to the LORD, your brethren and your children will be treated with compassion by those who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for the LORD your God is graciousandmerciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.

For I am merciful,' says the LORD; 'I will not remain angry forever. 13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against the LORD your God, And have scattered your charms to alien deities under every green tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,' says the LORD.

READ: HOSEA 11:8 8 "How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim? My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred. NKJV

READ: JOEL 2:12-13 12 "Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning." 13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. READ: EZEKIEL 33:12-13 THE FAIRNESS OF GOD'S JUDGMENT 12 "Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: 'The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.‘ 13 When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.

READ: EZEKIEL 3:20-21 20 "Again, whena righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 Nevertheless ifyou warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul."
