  1. Revision: Ancient Greece LO: To work on revision strategies for the Greeks.

  2. Starter • In this lesson we will be focusing on the Greekperiod. • When you revise you need to know at what point you are starting from. • So, think of three pieces of information that you can remember about the Greekperiod.

  3. Different Revision techniques • It will be down to you to find the best way to revise for your exam but in these lesson you will be introduced to a number of different methods. • In this lesson you will use flash cards and Mind Maps.

  4. Teaching • Revision techniques do not necessarily have to be complicated. • Sometimes working with a partner and teaching them everything you know about a subject can really help. • Try this technique and share your knowledge- you could think of an exam style question to answer and work out what you could put.

  5. Mind Maps • Mind Maps are a really useful way to remember large amounts of information. • Put together a Mind Map for Greecethat shows some of the main aspects of pre-historical medical knowledge. • You might want to include the following categories: Religion, Observation and records, Public Health, Knowledge of the Human Body, Hippocrates & the 4 Humours
