IntelFolsom, CA • 134 children ages 6 weeks through 5 years • Opened in 2005 • Accredited by NAEYC in 2007 • The drop-off and the child care entry are away from the main building entrance • Reception area for parents, teachers and children • Office area, staff lounge, and director’s office near reception area (7.1.2) • A multipurpose area for large motor activity (7.1.4) • The circulation serving the classrooms is designed to be a fun space with windows • Classrooms designed for specific age groups (7.1.3) • Infant classroom with separate crib & play area (7.2.1) • Young toddler & older toddler classroom have raised play areas (7.2.1) • Pre-school & school age classrooms have lofts (7.2.1) • Services areas include kitchen, laundry and janitorial (7.1.5)
