WHO Are We? • Otherwise known as SIS located in the District Service Center • Support student information needs in ALL areas of the district: Special Education, Alternative Learning Centers, Northern Star On-line, World Language, Mentor Connection, West Suburban Summer School, Ramp-Up, Itinerant, Care & Treatment programs, etc.

  6. WHAT Do We Track? • Enrollment • Tuition Billing • Testing & Assessment • Attendance • Scheduling Classes • Grade Reporting • Transcripts • Grade Book • Behavior Tracking • Health – Immunization tracking • Student Records

  9. TSIS The database software that Intermediate District 287 has chosen to use to track most all Student Information. A product of… TIES (Technology In Education Services) Internet access from anywhere in the world at any time of day – via the Internet!

Other Available Products • PLP = Personal Learning Plan • Three parts of the software: Profile, Plan and comments. • Profile is a “snapshot” of where the student is at in terms of attendance, testing, grades, behavior, and Graduation.Shows up on a teacher or administrators list as: Blue Diamond – Exceeds Standard Green Circle – Meets the Standard Yellow Triangle – Slightly below Standard Red Exclamation Point – Well Below Standard ! • Plan has 4 parts (replacing the paper CLP in the ALC division) My Spark, Focal Points (Goals), Activities, Measurements. • Comments a place where teachers, administrators, social workers, parole officers, parents, students can communicate.
