  5. “An understanding of the natural world and what’s in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment.” —David Attenborough It turned out to be a great morning to plant new flowers around the front sign and to prune plants around the buildings

  6. Mr. Shafferman and Ms. Koltz helped lead the 5th & 4th grade SCA Earth Day projects around Lowes Island Elementary. “The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.” —Lady Bird Johnson
