You will need your UMBID: Click on the area circled in red to obtain this information. Once you have your UMBID continue.
First Time Users, Go here to setup your initial password User Setup – First Sign In
User Setup – Authentication 1 2 3 1. Enter myUMBID (EmplID, SIMSIDor Affiliate ID) 2. Enter Date of Birth in MM/DD/YYYY format 3. Enter last 4 digits of SSN (UMB Employees only)
1 2 1. Select Secret Question 2. Enter secret answer using 3-32 characters (answer is not case sensitive) User Setup – Secret Question
Review Password Requirements Enter Desired password on the 1st line. Re-enter password on the 2nd line to confirm. User Setup – Create Password
Password Requirements • Example: UMBiz#01 • Change password every 90 days
Message confirms password was accepted: “Your password has been written to the UMB Directory”. Click here to go to the UMB Portal home page and sign in using your new password. User Setup – Accepted Password
Deny message specifies why the entered password failed to meet requirements User Setup – Denied Password
Initial Sign In 1. Enter myUMBID (EmplID/SIMSID/Affiliate ID) 2. Enter newly created password

What is Self Service? • Employees/Affiliates can update their Campus Contact Information (functional title, email address, phone #s, location and room number) whenever it changes. • Replaces updating this information via the Online Directory • Employees can update their Emergency Contact Information (whenever it changes)
Where does the Campus Contact information (for employees and affiliates) go? • eUMB HR System • Online Campus Directory • Annual UMB & UMMC Directory

It is suggested that you…use the tab key as move through the forms for Campus and Emergency Contact Information
Accessing UMB Campus Contact Info Enter your updated information in the box above and click Save
To Update myEmergency Contact Info Click Here
Add Emergency Contacts Add Contact Name and Choose what relationship this person is to you
Filling Out Emergency Contact Check here if the Contact’s Address and Phone are the same as yours. If not, then fill in the Address and Phone here. When finished click Save
Emergency Contact – Primary Contact Click Here to change your Primary Contact Click on the drop down, your Emergency Contacts will appear. Select which one you would like to be your Primary Contact and click SAVE
Things To Remember • Campus Contact information will update the Campus Directory • Self Service is available during regular business hours (7am – 6pm, 7 days/week)
