  3. The Cover Letter Concise.Who, What, Where, When, Why and HowClear. Use language that everyone understands. Don't use fancy words. Make it easy for you reader to understand you.Powerful.Use action words. Grab your readers attention!Visual. Use words that create a visual image in your readers mind. This will make your message memorable.

  4. The Cover Letter Tell a Story. A short story, that is. A good story is essentially this: someone with a problem either finds a solution or faces tragedy. Either type of story can be used to illuminate what you do.Targeted.Your readers are judging the logic of your business plan and your argument for our investment. Goal Oriented.Your cover letter has one purpose in mind, for our judges to remember you and consider your business plan summary. Has a Hook. This is the element that literally snags your readers interest and makes them want to know more. This is the phrase or words that strike a chord in your readers.
