  2. BRP RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN • New Plan. Replaces BRP Nuclear Power Station Emergency Plan • All Radiological Hazards Plan – Not Just Nuclear Power Plants

  3. Plan Structure • Basic Plan – Provides Outline of Plan • Annexes – Procedures for Various Emergencies, and Supporting Annexes; 10 Annexes, Labeled A – K. • Section/Procedure Naming: • BRP-ER-(Annex)-(Section/Procedure) • Example: BRP-ER-J-1.04

  4. Annexes • A. Nuclear Power Plant Incidents • Very Much Like Old BRP E-Plan. • Contains Bulk of New Plan Material. • Most Section Labels Same as or Close to Old Plan • Several upcoming revisions to plan including organizational change to have technical representative at ICP

  5. Annexes (Continued) • B. Radiological Based Terrorist Incidents • RDD/RED/IND • Development completed, plan revisions to be issued 02/09 • Includes above, plus a Recovery Procedure, Hotspot 2.06 and NARAC procedures.

  13. Changes to Plan (Cont.) • Updates to ‘Example Only’ Documents (Phone List, Inventories, Personnel Rosters) Will NOT Require an Entry on ‘Record of Changes’ Page

  14. Distribution of Plan • CDs – Each BRP Technical Staff Receives CD • PDF and Word Versions on CD, and includes Ingestion Pathway calculation spreadsheets for Food, Water, Soil etc. • Hard Copies – • Regions – 2 for Office; 2 for Field Teams (Kept now in F -150s) • CO, EOF, PEMA, R3V
