  9. Grammar: going to for plans and predictions • Use going to + verb to describe plan or to make predictions based on evidence: • Example: We’re going to have a party this weekend (plan) • The sky is blue. It isn’t going to rain. ( predictions) .

  10. Grammar: Will, might and adverbs of possibility. • Use adverbs of probability( definitely, probably, possibly) with will and won’t to make predictions. Adverbs of probability go after will but before won’t. • Use might and might not to talk about possible future. Mightmeanswill possibly.

  11. Grammar: first conditional • The first conditional describes what will happen in future situations. The first conditional has two clauses. • The if clause describes a possible situation, and the conditional clause describes the result of the situation. • In the if clause, use a verb the present tense. In the conditional clause, use a verb in the future.
