  9. Usingexceltemplate • Check aircraft types and airportcodesagainstdictionaries from ENS • Maximum 2 digits for emissions per aerodrome pair in annex 1 • Maximum 3 digits for total emissions in section 5

  10. On-linereporting • Open from 1 March • Access for non-Danish operators: user ID and password delivered upon request to luftfart@ens.dk • Access for Danish Operators: Digital signature from DanID (medarbejdersignatur)

  11. Reportingon-line • Upload from xml or special excel template • Manual typing as last year • Guidance and files for upload will be sent out this week • Data from last year is pre-filled

  12. Changes from 2013 • New regulations for monitoring, reporting, verification and accreditation in 2013-2020 • Approved by CCC (EU memberstates) in December 2011 • Scrutiny by the European Parliament • Expected final adoption in May 2012

Monitoring from 2013 • Implementing lessons learnt from the first years • Small Emitter limit raised to 25.000 tonnes CO2 per year • More focus on procedures for quality assurance • Better description of data gap approaches • Biofuels determined using purchase records • Biofuels must be sustainable

  14. Monitoring from 2013 • New monitoring plans required • New templateswillbeissued summer 2012 • Monitoring plans must beapproved by 1 January 2013

Verification from 2013 • All accreditedverifierscanautomaticallyverify in all countries • Site visit not needed for small emitters – if the verifierfindsthere is a lowrisk • Operators using the ETS Support Facilityareexempt from significant parts of the verification • Site for site visit canbe virtual access to databases

  17. Freeallocation • Benchmark for 2012 calculated as 85% of total cap for 2012 / total EU-vide number of TKM • Benchmark for 2013-2020 calculated as 82% of total annual cap in 2013-2020 / total EU-vide number of TKM • No further reporting of TKM untill 2015 (based on trafic in 2014)
