INCENTIVE Considerable potential for the promotion of energy efficiency, energy conservation and utilization of RES in the region.

DOBRICH LOCAL AGENCY FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT • Support to the realization of the municipal activitiesfor application of energy efficiency measures • Surveys and development of database of municipal buildings for energy retrofitting • Gas installation of municipal buildings • Mounting of solar systems on municipal buildings ACTIVITIES

PROJECTS DOBRICH LOCAL AGENCY FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT ENEFCOMPLEX /2006/ - energy efficiency improvement of the heating installation of Dobrotitsa Sports Complex through: - replacement of the old mazut installation with a new one based on the utilization of natural gas and solar energy - evaluation of the new installation functioning Results:decreased energy expenses by 30% (after a test month of functioning)

DOBRICH LOCAL AGENCY FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT PROJECTS Energy Efficiency schools 2006 – improvement of the energy efficiency at schools for decreasing the green house emissions in Dobrich Phases: • Analysis and database development of the energy characteristics • implementation of energy audits of 12 secondary schools • Public campaigns in the schools for the climate changes through energy efficiency and use of renewables

  11. DOBRICH LOCAL AGENCY FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT Phases: 3. Energy retrofitting of a language school – replacing the present window wood frames with plastic ones; thermo isolation and double gas sticking hydro isolation 4. Evaluation of the energy efficiency Expected results: reduction of the energy costs by 86,2% in a year, environmental equivalent to 86 tones CO2 emissions saved
