  2. Cheerfulness- Being in pleasant spirits.

  3. Course Requests • Course request are to be returned by all students (grades 9-11). Confirmations and/or changes must be submitted to their 1st period teacher by Friday March 22nd. • All level changes must be signed off by the subject area teacher. • IF LATIN or CHINESE is listed as one of their PRIMARY requests, they must choose Spanish, French, or German as an alternate. This would be in case the Latin and Chinese classes do not make.

  4. Relay for LIFE STUDENT-FACULTY BASKETBALL GAME • Thursday March 28th • Come see your peers take on the EHS faculty • Bring loose change & any cash to donate to the American Cancer Society!

  5. Relay for Life CHAIN of Memory & honor • Starting this week, you can purchase a link for a nickel • Each link represents someone that you’ve lost to cancer OR beat cancer and all links will come together to form a chain around the gym during the student faculty bball game • Chains will be offered in various colors that represent each cancer • For example- a pink chain for breast cancer • **see Mrs. Reams (new gym) or Mrs. Schwartz (7216)

YELLOW- Bone cancer • PINK- Breast Cancer • BLUE- Colon cancer • LIGHT BLUE- Prostate cancer • LIME-non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer • PURPLE- Testicular & pancreatic cancer • LAVENDAR- all cancers • ORANGE- Leukemia • GRAY- Brain cancer • BLACK- Melanoma • TEAL- Ovarian cancer • GOLD- Childhood cancer

  7. PROM TICKETS • 2 WEEKS LEFT TO PURCHASE PROM TICKETS • MARCH $65 • APRIL $75 • Tickets can be purchased during lunches on Fridays and during the student-faculty basketball game

College choices • Now that we’ve spent some time researching the requirements for local schools, develop a list of at least 3 schools that interest you. • Choice 1- dream school • Choice 2- school you are interested in and feel comfortable about getting into • Choice 3- safe school that you are confident about getting into

  9. Personality Test • Complete the handout on the personality Quiz! • Use this information to see what careers would be a good match for your personality

  10. College board website • On your PSAT Scoring handout, every student has a Quick start code • Using the code, you can create an account on College Board’s website • The website offers personality quizzes and options to research careers • Quick Start login
