  2. Setting • Its about gangs the greasers, socs the socs threaten to kill ponyboy the three brothers ( darryjohnny and ponyboy ) their parents died in a car accient . The brothers try to stay out of trouble.

  3. Characters

  4. Conflict • Johnny murders a guy named Bob and runs from the police. He’s scared that if he gets caught. He might go to jail , but at the time he wants to turn him self in , but at the time he’s scared…

  5. Summary of Plot • A kid two weeks in life having trouble dealing from good or bad… parents died in a car accient .. Lives with his two older brothers ..

  6. Theme • Parents die in a car accient . • Text Evidence 1: Johnny murdres bob. • Text Evidence 2:Ponyboy choices from good or bad . • Text Evidence 3: Johnny runs from the police .

  7. Point of View • First person because the book says mostly about Ponyboy ex. I I’ll me.. Ponyboy is trying to stay out of trouble, and not get caught by what he does. If it was third person the story would have been different it would of used He, They , Them .

  8. Symbolism • The greasers they were poor, they have long hair , dress in blue jeans , leather jacket , they wear tenny shoes , or boots , and also t- shirts …

  9. Recommendation • I think not because I really didn’t like the book , I think it was boring. It didn’t even have pictures and really didn’t catch my attention .
