  1. Italy Italy is situated in the south of Europe, the capital is Rome. It’s made up of 20 regions, it is a peninsula and it has the shape of a boot. Calabria Calabria is a region in the South of Italy. Powierzchnia Kalabrii wynosi 15.079 km² i jest zamieszkiwana przez ponad 2.000.000 osób. Kalabria to kwintesencja Mezzogiorno, to idealne miejsce dla tych, którzy kochają rdzenną kulturę południowych Włoch oraz uwielbiają śródziemnomorskie słońce.

  2. Calabria The most important Towns are Catanzaro, Cosenza, Crotone, ViboValentia and Reggio di Calabria.

  3. Calabria It amazes tourist and travellers with itsstrongcontrast: high and rocky, long white beaches, cobalt blue sea, agains a light blue sky, between expanses of green.

  4. History and culture Calabria is a region of ancient Mediterranean culture. It can still give important visible testimony of these epochs, which were so fundamental for European history and culture. For the tourist, all this undoubtedly makes this journey through the history of man very fascinating.

  5. Cattolica di Stilo The Byzantine Catholic Church  is a small centered square- shaped in plan,  it is in stylus in the province of Reggio Calabria.

  6. Artistic heritage There are many archeological traces of ancient times, from prehistory to the settlements of theautochthonusBruttian, to the great epic period of the Magna Graecia. The majesty of the Riace Bronzes is now famous throughout the world.

  7. Magna Graecia It’s possible to admire remains of the rich and prosperous colonies founded by the Greeks from the 8th century. There are many cities colonized by Greeks: Sibari, Strongoli, Cirò , Monasterace , Crotone and Locri.

  8. Soverato Soverato is situated on the East coast of Calabria, looking into the Ionian Sea. It’s one of the main tourist destinations and for it’s beauty it is know as “ the Pearl of the IonianSea”. Thanks to the clean seawater there is an abudance of seahorses in the bay and so this has become the symbol of Soverato.

Soverato • Seafront: one of the Ionian coast, the Europe Seafront extends through a refreshing pinewood and beach with bathing estabilishments and dancing halls. • Botanical garden: during the Second World War Snticellihillwasusedasanti-ship and anti-aircraftbattery. Today the area receives a fascinanting Mediteranean vegetations. • Aquarium: it’s the last advent of the public town building it hosts its fish species of the Squillace Gulf, and among these typical seahorses.

  10. “Old”Soverato Two documents, one into Latin and one into Greek of the eleventh century certifies the existence of Soverato, with the names of Suberatum and Suveraton. In 1594 it was sacked by the Turks; in 1783 it was under the effects of a great earthquake. Traces of walls and two towers of the urban plant can be still admired.
