Preparing for School with French Books! - 123 Petits Pas Kindergarten is a new and sometimes scary experience for our children, but with the help of some fun and relatable stories that show the joys of the kindergarten experience, hopefully your child’s worries will disappear. When reading the books together, ask them questions to get discussions started. Some great questions to ask include:  “Do you think school will be fun?” Tell them some stories about the friends you met / things you enjoyed when you were in school. “Are you excited about school? Why?” After listening to why they’re excited, be sure to share why you’re excited for them to experience school! Preparing for School with French Books! Kindergarten is a new and sometimes scary experience for our children, but with the help of some fun and relatable stories that show the joys of the kindergarten experience, hopefully your child’s worries will disappear. Preparing for Kindergarten- School Supplies - 123 Petits Pas When we asked about lunch box recommendations, there was a variety of answers, however, the two top brands mentioned were YumBox and Bentgo Kids. Other brands mentioned were: Costco Roots lunch bags, So Young,  Little lunch box co., Louis Garneau, Planet box, and Sistema brand. One thing to consider was that it might be simpler to send their food in multiple containers. This way if they open their lunchbox and it spills, they won’t lose all of their food for the day.  We polled our parent & teacher community to see their recommendations! You asked us for recommendations for your future kindergarteners, and then we asked our 123 Petits Pas community for the answers! Below are some recommendations, suggestions and tips on preparing yourself and your little one Preparing for kindergarten this fall regarding all things school supplies.
