  3. ABSTRACT • The whole world day, is facing the COVID-19 pandemic. It has affected the world badly. • Studies have proved that wearing a face mask is one of the precautions to reduce the risk of viral transmission. • And many public places as well as public services providers requires customers to use the service and place only if they wear mask , Correctly • So, it is not possible to manually track the customer, wheather they have mask or not • That’s why this technology hoids the key here. In this technique, we propose face mask detection using image processing which is one of the high accuracy and efficient face mask detector. • Our system is capables of detecting masked and unmasked faces and can be integrated with webcam cameras. • The System will help to task safety violations, promote to use of face masks and it ensure a safe working environment

  5. Existing System • It may consists, a person wearing a mask recognizes the sense of protection. • Machine learning & Artificial Intelligence. Consists of various technology which provides effective solutions to complex problems i.e, COVID-19. • Face mask detection platform can quickly access /identity the person with a mask, using cameras and analytics.

  6. Proposed System • The proposed System mainly Consists of : 1. Image Preprocessing 2. Face detection and Crop 3. Face Mask classifier • The Main objective of “face Mask recognition” project is to provide some effective technology for preventing the spread of corona virus. • By this technique, to present the spread of COVID-19 is very easy.

  7. System Requirments Software Requirements: • OS: Windows or Linux • Python IDE : python 2.7.x and above • Pycharm IDE Required, jupyter notebook , anaconda • Setup tools and pip to be installed for 3.6 and above • Language : Python Scripting

  8. Hardware Requirements • RAM: 4GB and Higher • Processor: Intel i3 and above • Hard Disk: 500GB: Minimum

  9. Conclusion .Hence by this type of techniques we may detect the masked and unmasked faces. . Through by this way we may little break the spread COVID-19.
