This case study discusses a 72-year-old male patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) who presented with symptoms including recurrent bleeding stools, weight loss, and general weakness. Following a biopsy, he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, raising questions about the relationship between diabetes and this malignancy. The increasing prevalence of DM in Indonesia and its potential health implications are highlighted. Understanding this link could be vital for managing diabetes and preventing colorectal cancer.
