  2. 1. Seasonal advertising Advertising all over the year if you have a product with seasonal sale is a waste of both capital and resources. Thus, advertising strategically at the right time just before the season and till the end of season while keeping an eye on competitors can prove to give huge returns. Targeting festivals such as Dhanteras, Diwali, Republic day has never failed in case of online shopping portals like Flipkart and Amazon shelling our millions in just 2 or 3 day sales that are generally advertised 15 days prior to the festival day through multiple channels like newspaper, TV and OOH hoardings.
