Display Wall and Collaboration Solutions Control Room Information Sharing, Collaboration and Event-Driven Visualization for Networked Displays including Video Walls, Flat-Panel LCDs and Desk-Top Monitors In Booth 10 at ITS Canada’s 2016 Annual Conference and Exhibition (AC&E) Activu Corporation will demonstrate its proven information sharing and collaboration solutions which deliver critical information to decision makers on networked displays, such as video walls, desktops and mobile devices. This year’s AC&E will be held May 1-4 at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta. A pioneer in the development of control room visualization systems, Activu enterprise software gets the right information to the right people wherever they are, enabling universal information sharing and real-time collaboration. Tailored to meet the operational needs of traffic management centers, Activu’s control room visualization and collaboration software allows users to share visual information across a network, regardless of the location, on any type of screen, from a control room video wall or workstation to a laptop or mobile device. Users are provided with a wealth of dynamic information, allowing them to obtain a complete operational picture, effectively share critical information, anticipate problems due to congestion and plan appropriately to minimize issues and delays. Attendees will have the opportunity to view Activu’s mobility capabilities, which allow users to connect wirelessly and securely from the field, using their smartphone or tablet. Field personnel can stream real-time high-definition video and send captured photos and videos to the control room while also being able to view visual information from the control room on their mobile devices. They will also have the opportunity to learn about ActivuLink. Created as a way to assist customers with the daunting task of filtering through increasing amounts of information being supplied by control room systems, Activu Link alerts operators to critical events by automatically updating display content in response to user-defined scenarios. Attendees will also have a chance to see Activu demonstrations at the AC&E’s virtual TMC. The virtual TMC will bring together several traffic management centers from across Canada into a single ‘virtual TMC’ that will showcase the capabilities and real-time operations of each TMC. It will also show how integration of the feeds can be accomplished on a single video wall and remote control center.
