Food coloring is a pigment or substance that gives colour after mixing food and beverages. Food colouring has applications in bakery and confectionery, dairy and frozen desserts, beverages, meat products, sweet and savoury snacks, etc. As the number of hotels, cafes and restaurants increases, so does the demand for food colouring. It is estimated that increasing consumer awareness of clean label products and the additional health benefits of certain natural food colours will drive the food colouring market.
