  1. Types of CANCER Cancer is an uncontrolled division of cells that may originate in any tissue of the body. There are over 60 different tissues where cancer can originate. Some of the most common types of cancer are; common types of cancer are; Lung Cancer It is caused due to pollution, smoking tobacco and other harmful carcinogenic compounds and is considered to be the most deadliest type of all. Breast Cancer Unhealthy lifestyle, irregular sleeping hours and high stress levels are some reasons behind breast cancer. It is the leading cause of cancer deaths in women. Blood Cancer It can either originate in the bone marrow. Three different types of blood cancer are; Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. Oral Cancer Colon Cancer Chewing tobacco and excessive smoking increase the chances of oral cancer. It usually originates in oral cavity, and then gradually spreads to cheeks, lips and pharynx. Most common form of cancer which usually arises due to excessive growth of cells lining the rectum and colon. Smoking, obesity and bowel diseases increase its risk. Cervical Cancer This type of cancer originates in cervix, part of female reproductive system, and is caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which is transmitted through sexual contact.
