  1. HEAT STROKE Heat stroke is a form of hyperthermia in which body’s temperature increases dramatically more than 40 degrees Celsius. If not addressed on time, it can affect the working of central nervous system. Symptoms Symptoms 1 Headache And Dizziness 2 Unconsciousness 3 Red, Hot And Dry Skin 4 Muscle Weakness Or Cramps 5 Nausea And Vomiting 6 Increased Heartbeat Rate 7 Rapid Breathing 8 Confusion Or Staggering 9 Red, Hot And Dry Skin 10 Lack Of Sweating Despite The Heat Causes Causes 1 Dehydration 2 Alcohol consumption 3 Intense physical activity 4 Exposure to excessive hot environment 5 Wearing clothes that prevent sweat from evaporating Treatment Treatment 1 A cold bath to lower the body temperature 2 Wrapping the patient in a blanket and applying ice packs. 3 Misting cold water over the body and using hot air to evaporate it. Prevention Prevention 1 Drink plenty of fluids 2 Wear light and loose fitting clothes 3 Never leave anyone in the parked car 4 Apply sunscreen and wear sunglasses After lightning, heat stroke is India's deadliest natural calamity.
