  2. SCHEDULE 40 SCHEDULE 40 Schedule 40 steel pipe is the most commonly used pipe schedule. It can be galvanized and is usually used in water and gas lines. It may also appear in places that need support to perform under heavy pressure. It makes a great pipe due to its versatility and performance strength. Schedule 40 vs 80: Schedule 40 have a smaller wall thickness, a larger inside diameter and a low weight than Schedule 80

  3. WHAT IS SCHEDULE 80 PIPE WHAT IS SCHEDULE 80 PIPE Schedule 80 pipe is designed with a thicker wall. This means that the pipe is thicker and stronger and can therefore withstand high pressures. Sch 80 pipelines are suitable for their sturdier walls. It gives improved safety and durability. Sch 40 vs Sch 80: Sch 80 pipes have more durable interior sections than Sch 40 pipes, resulting in a lesser inner diameter.
