They are – flat-swan, quarter swan and rift swan. •The kind of cut would basically depend upon the kind of base you want. •Once the cutting process is completed the timber is packed unfinished for on-site finishing during the installation process or it is finished right there at the factory. •The moisture content in the wood is taken special care of by treated pine and timber decking Suppliers to avoid distorting of pieces during transportation, storage or installation process. •You’ll usually find absorption strips in these solid woods as it reduces cupping. •These stripes are grooved into the back of the wood and run through the entire length of each plank.

4. 4 Engineered wood Features – •This version is very popular across the globe. •The wood has many layers with the top one visible above the surface. •This version is very popular and robust because the layers (all 6 of them) are covered with varnish. •Each layer below runs at 90 degrees to the above one and this formation makes this version more popular than others. •This option is further divided in several other categories. •There is "veneer floor" that uses a thin layer of wood over a core that is commonly a composite wood product. •We also have "acrylic impregnated" wood or timber flooring Sydney and as the name suggests, it uses a layer of impregnated wood with liquid acrylic. •The wood may be engineered differently and this will basically depend upon the requirement and affordability of the clients.

5. 5 Rotary peel •For this version, the log of wood is first placed in boiling water for a fixed amount of time. •Then, it is peeled off using a blade and this process starts from outside and proceeds towards the core. •The sheet that emerges from this peeling is called veneer that is pressed flat at a very high pressure. •The end product that is applied on the concrete base gives the appearance of wood.
